The seminar provides an overview of event data recorders for today’s vehicles. The presentation will address crash data recorder history, supported vehicles, type of data recorded, how the data is accessed, in what areas the data can help in assessing traffic accidents, permission required, and what types of commercial vehicles have EDR data.
Acquisition and Analysis of Infotainment System Data

The seminar provides an overview of the Berla iVe system, provides instruction on how to operate the system, alerts participants to downloading variables as it relates to vehicles, and provides an overview of the data that is available. Overview
Florida has a climate with high average dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures, which requires HVAC systems to operate constantly. As such, insurance adjusters routinely encounter property damage due to HVAC systems and mechanical failures. This course will focus on proper HVAC system operation and mechanical failures that result in water releases.
